What is your job at NCR and when did you start here?
I am the Donor Secretary. I came to NCR in 2001.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Reason you like it?
John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. The Pastor who married us used this passage in our ceremony. It is a very powerful verse.

Tell us about your family and pets.
I am married to a wonderful man, Don. We have a son Alec. Our family dog is Cody. (He thinks he is one of the people in the family! He loves to play hide and seek-he does the seeking and barks to let you know you're found!) We have four fish too!

Where else have you lived and worked?
Well...Michigan! I was born in Western Michigan and moved to Northern Michigan in first grade. I lived and worked in the Metro Detroit area in the insurance industry for several years. I returned to Northern Michigan with this job, which included travel all over Northern Lower Michigan and part of the U.P. I have also worked in the Hotel/Restaurant industry.

How did you get started in Christian Radio?
I volunteered here at NCR a few times over a couple of years. I had been listening to the station for about 4 years as I traveled for work. It was so encouraging to me during that time. To make a long story short, I had left my job in the insurance industry, making more time to be with our son. So I decided to give my free time to the Lord. I volunteered here and at my church. While I was working on a promotion for a concert at my church, I was made aware of the opening here at NCR through a friend. After prayerful consideration, I applied, interviewed and was hired! It has been a true blessing to work here. I still have time with my family and I am working for the LORD! What could be better!

Who are your favorite aritsts?
Steven Curtis Chapman, Rich Mullins, Phillips, Craig and Dean, Russ Lee, Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Mercy Me and the list goes on and on. I love 'em all!

If you could do anything else for a living, what else would you do?
Well that's a hard one, because I love my job! But………..if I had to choose, I would love to be a Worship Music singer/musician, playing my guitar and singing the Good News of Jesus. I love to sing along with the music here at work, in my car and at home. However, I was not gifted with pitch or "on key notes", so I minister through working for NCR!
